Board Development -  Our goal is to help guide the organization through a process towards understanding Board Structure,  Roles and Responsibilities of the Governing Board. The non profit board development services provided at T.U.T.O.R are geared to addressing the key duties and responsibilities of the organization. These key responsibilities include but are not limited to: setting the direction of the organization, providing oversight, developing policies, appointing officers, hiring an Executive Director, ensuring the organization has access to necessary resources and represents the community. 

Grant Readiness - We work with nonprofit staff and leaders to determine grant readiness. We support the nonprofit in compiling, gathering and creating what we feel are important documents to measure the grant readiness of the organization. Having these documents readily available helps to facilitate a smoother grant writing process.

These services are aimed at simplifying grant work and research. The goal is to prospect, track and manage the grant writing program of the nonprofit organization.

We can also support you in getting on track with paying your bills on time which leads to improving your credit score. 

Budget Counseling - Most individuals are not aware of how much money is coming in and going out. Budgeting involves a very basic principle: Spend less and Save More. At T.U.T.O.R. we work with our clients in a simple but thorough process to create a budget.
 

Credit Counseling - We work with each client on how to obtain a free credit report and then review your information with you. Then we can assist with ways to improve your credit score and address any adverse reporting found in the report.

T.U.T.O.R. will work and guide you through the process of implementing a successful Debt Reduction Plan. The process will include prioritizing your debts including, guiding and supporting you in addressing any concerns you may have involving your creditors. 

Goal Setting - Oftentimes goals are confused with dreams. Understanding the difference between a dream and a goal is important and necessary to achieving a financially driven outcome. Having a “SMART'' goal doesn't mean it’s always “SMART.” T.U.T.O.R. is your accountability-partner in helping you determine and maintain properly aligned goals. Written goals provide a roadmap by which you can measure your efforts and see how you are progressing toward the accomplishment. 

Home Buying Counseling - We help with credit and money management to help you on your way to home ownership. We assist with everything from reviewing the home buying process to evaluation of the management of your money and your credit and why it is important. We approach the counseling process through the lens of a loan officer. 

Insurance Counseling (Life & Personal Lines) - We evaluate for any risks or exposure that may need to be managed. We assist in reviewing insurance needs to meet current financial - status, goals, needs and responsibilities. This should be done annually.
